DJ directed and choreographed Alan Menken's American Songbook evening at the beautiful Allen Room in the JAZZ@LINCOLNCENTER space in New York City. In June, DJ directed a reading of the fabulously zany new musical- Viva La Diva! written by Oscar winner Bobby Houston and composer Randy Courts. | ||

New beginnings in 2008 | ||||||
In June 2008, DJ's musical The Man Who Would Be King, written with composer Neil Berg, had a successful reading at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, CA. Featured in the cast were Marc Kudisch, Kevin Earley, and Candice Nicole. Another reading was presented in August 2009 by Village Theatre in Issaquah WA with Joe Cassidy and Erik Jensen, directed by Tony winner Brian Yorkey. | ||||||
